Pictured against bathing boxes at Rye Beach this morning are these beautiful gold and navy fabric Vera Wang sandals with gold leather trim. We've seen them before, but they really are worth another look. They are paired with Jean Patou's Vacances, a floral musk fragrance released in 1936 (and reissued in the 1980s), which still smells just like holidays should.
Lovely pair, I hope they don't mind a bit of sand.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are so elegant. You work gold and ankle straps extremely well, Ms. Kittie.
ReplyDeleteI love this shot, except for those gray clouds in the distance.
ReplyDeleteKittie I hope you didn't get too much sand in those sandals ?. And I think you should have at least been photographed in Blairgowrie. On the other hand it would have been difficult to climb the clffs at Portsea in them.
ReplyDeleteBy the sound of it this comment comes from one of my acquaintances who spends a lot of time social climbing - sorry, cliff climbing - down at Portsea...and too bloody right Kittie didn't try anything too strenuous in these magnificent heels. It was hard enough struggling up onto the deck to get this shot taken!
ReplyDeletethat's funny. well done.
ReplyDeleteYou noticed the gray/grey clouds have gone, Joseph? My seaside photographer arranged that for you...
ReplyDeletelove this picture sweetie, very i'd like to have a holiday by the seaside.. ps the postings from the country red ute driver.
ReplyDeleteAward winning shot! Who was the photographer?
ReplyDeleteChap called Kranski...didn't get his first name. Very talented.
ReplyDelete"didn't get his first name"--classic.
