Day 297 - There's no other store like David Jones

David Jones, DJs...the best department store in Australia. They don't stock John Fluevog shoes, but they should! These beautiful coral and beige cutout numbers, purchased, as keen-eyed blog followers will recall, in the Fluevog epicentre of Vancouver, earlier this year, posed on DJ characteristic houndstooth packaging. They are paired with the divine Chanel Bois des Iles. And, let's face it, there really is no other store like David Jones...

Day 221 - Climbing the corporate ladder

Sublime classic Manolo Blahnik red suede pumps triumphant over an unfortunate former colleague in the workplace. Yes, it's a tough environment and I hope he rests in peace. (Kittie quite likes the idea of crushing men underfoot! Well, OK, some more than others.) These are paired with the very grown-up fragrance Bois des Iles from the Chanel Les Exclusifs collection.

Day 75 - Deja vu

OK, OK, I know that you are probably thinking...she's run out of shoes, so she's repeating them!  Oh, and while we're at it, she's also repeating shooting scenes (this striped laneway has been seen before).  Well, sure, the laneway and shoes have been seen before, but as to running out of shoes and ideas....absolutely, no, no, no!!  Nothing could be farther from the truth!  I'm only wearing these lovely Manolo Blahnik greyish taupe mules again (they were in last night's post adorned with clip-on bling) because Alice wanted a better look at them.  The colour is quite unusual, bordering on what I call 'Weimeraner' - a luxurious soft greyish brown, like the dog.  They have a low kitten heel, a relatively deep vamp - no toe cleavage - and a scalloped braid-like trim.  They are worn with Chanel's ethereal Bois des Iles, a fabulous autumnal scent.

Day 54 - Retro

Pictured today are some retro red Amalfi slingbacks purchased at Nordstrom taking a breath of fresh air. They're accompanied by Chanel's great classic from 1926, Bois des Iles.
