Day 75 - Deja vu

OK, OK, I know that you are probably thinking...she's run out of shoes, so she's repeating them!  Oh, and while we're at it, she's also repeating shooting scenes (this striped laneway has been seen before).  Well, sure, the laneway and shoes have been seen before, but as to running out of shoes and ideas....absolutely, no, no, no!!  Nothing could be farther from the truth!  I'm only wearing these lovely Manolo Blahnik greyish taupe mules again (they were in last night's post adorned with clip-on bling) because Alice wanted a better look at them.  The colour is quite unusual, bordering on what I call 'Weimeraner' - a luxurious soft greyish brown, like the dog.  They have a low kitten heel, a relatively deep vamp - no toe cleavage - and a scalloped braid-like trim.  They are worn with Chanel's ethereal Bois des Iles, a fabulous autumnal scent.

  2. I'm making a quilt using cotton in tha particular taupe - every colour glows beside it.

  3. The colour is greige. Chanel immortalised it in its nail colour 505 Particuliere in late 2009. You will perhaps not be shocked to know I invested in three bottles of it. (Including the last bottle DJs had in Sydney.)
