Very striking Manolo Blahnik peeptoes with a bit of a Minnehaha look - beige suede with brown whip stitching and bows - posed on the tartan carpet at the entrance of Melbourne's premier accessory boutique, Christine, accompanied by a waft of Amouage Jubilation 25.
Love the carpet, but have no idea what "Minnehaha" is.

Joseph, I'm shocked! You're the American here...this is from Wikipedia: Minnehaha is a fictional Native American woman documented in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's 1855 epic poem The Song of Hiawatha. She is the lover of the titular protagonist Hiawatha. The name is often incorrectly said to mean "laughing water", though in reality it translates to "waterfall" or "rapid water" in Dakota. (I was referring to the moccasin-inspired detail on the Blahnik in referencing Minnehaha. I like to think she was a classy type of chick and would approve of the heel.)
