Kittie in Chinatown, Melbourne, today browsing won ton menus after her sojourn at the coast, wearing a classic pair of Manolos that make any outing special. Even passengers on the number 86 tram were stealing glances at them! They are paired with a splash or two of 28 La Pausa by Chanel.

Day 357 - (Another) evening out

Day 356 - Cocktails

Sublime and classic Manolo Blahnik silver Sederaby heels with diamante buckles are pictured this evening at a cocktail function in Melbourne's leafy Toorak. Readers will recall these were the famous 'stolen shoes' from Sex and the City. They are being watched by one of the host's ancestresses, in a little cloud of - most fittingly - Jean Patou Cocktail, a 1930s fragrance reissued in the 1980s.

Day 345 - St Jude's

St Jude is the patron saint of lost causes, and St Jude's is a good place for brunch on Melbourne's Brunswick Street. These white patent Manolo Blahnik sandals are pictured this morning resting on a box of Ranga beer at the aforementioned establishment, accompanied by a dab or three of Jean Patou's classic from the 1930s, Normandie (the 1980s reissue).

Day 321 - In the navy

Manolo, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways...time to refresh with another airing of the shoemeister. These are his all-time classic Carolynes in navy blue, with the trademark flared heels. Superb engineering. They are pictured with friends in their cool Flinders Lane apartment this evening, accompanied by the sublime (and compliment-inducing) Bigarade Concentree by Frederic Malle. I love navy...could we please bring it back?!

The epitome of elegant Manolo Blahnik slides, pictured this evening at the opening of the incredibly moving show by the talented Rachel Berger, Hold the Pickle, about her family surviving the Holocaust and building a new life first in Israel, and then in St Kilda (almost a country within Australia), but so much more. They are worn with Frederic Malle's Portrait of a Lady.

Day 259 - Class act

Beautiful woven pumps by the Meister, Manolo Blahnik, in a type of sisal fabric, with wood stack heels. They are at Melbourne's Grand Hyatt this evening with the immortal Chanel No 19 (vintage parfum).
