Day 364 - City Kittie

 

Kittie in Chinatown, Melbourne, today browsing won ton menus after her sojourn at the coast, wearing a classic pair of Manolos that make any outing special. Even passengers on the number 86 tram were stealing glances at them! They are paired with a splash or two of 28 La Pausa by Chanel.

Day 358 - Parliament Gardens

Kittie wearing her favourite vintage Chanel spectator Mary Janes today in Parliament Gardens, posed with the statues of Sir Douglas and Lady Nicholls, and worn with Chanel's Gardenia.

Day 353 - Chaneling Christmas

These superb two-tone Chanel Mary Janes in black and burnt toast (my name for the colour) are pictured today amongst Christmas stuff channeling the season with a spray or three of Heure Exquise by Annick Goutal, a very lovely warm/green iris-infused scent.

Day 352 - Black satin

Black satin Vera Wang slingbacks pictured this evening in a bowl of party corks, very appropriate to the season. They are worn with Chanel's beautiful 31 Rue Cambon.

Day 350 - Handbag

Tonight, Kittie was a 'handbag'...yes, that's right...she was delighted to be asked to stand in for someone even more special (amazing thought)... at one of Melbourne's great Christmas parties. This one was thrown by event organiser suprema, Valentina, and was a beauty. These glittering party shoes with gold heels are by Pedro Garcia and are partnered with Chanel's Coco parfum. A good time was had by all...including the handbag.

Day 347 - Corked

Chanel cork drinking sandals, last seen late in January, are pictured at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne enjoying a martini or three this evening, accompanied by Chanel's Bel Respiro.

Day 338 - Gardening

Sarra Lienne gardening clogs from France in the garden today doing some long-overdue maintenance. They are accompanied by Chanel's Gardenia.

Day 333 - Lost in North Caulfield

Beautiful blush pinky beige Prada mules with black leafy detail pictured today in the wilds of North Caulfield. They are partnered with Chanel's elegant ode to iris, 28 La Pausa from Les Exclusifs.

Day 319 - Pedicure

On a warm and lovely Melbourne day following a touch-up to the claws, Ann Taylor thongs (Australian) -  also known as flip flops (American) -  pictured post-pedicure today with the remnants of a heavy spray of Frederic Malle's divine Carnal Flower. The nail varnish is Chanel's Rose Insolent.

Day 318 - Keegan

Outside Florentino this afternoon, these fabulous Kate Spade ponyskin dotty sandals with sliver heels - the style is Keegan - were snapped in a light cloud of Chanel's Bel Respiro.

Day 315 - Chucks

Bright yellow Converse All Stars - I love this yellow! - are pictured today partnered with Chanel's Gardenia.

Day 299 - Broad daylight

Scarlet patent Kate Spade peeptoes pictured today in the sun at Laurent Patisserie, paired with Chanel's cheeky Bel Respiro from Les Exclusifs collection.

Day 297 - There's no other store like David Jones

David Jones, DJs...the best department store in Australia. They don't stock John Fluevog shoes, but they should! These beautiful coral and beige cutout numbers, purchased, as keen-eyed blog followers will recall, in the Fluevog epicentre of Vancouver, earlier this year, posed on DJ characteristic houndstooth packaging. They are paired with the divine Chanel Bois des Iles. And, let's face it, there really is no other store like David Jones...

Day 283 - Spring bling

The most comfortable deep green leather pumps with bling detail by Vera Wang Lavender, pictured today in a dreamy cloud of Chanel's modern chypre classic 31 Rue Cambon.

Day 271 - Stormy weather

These deep red patent Kate Spade peeptoes are pictured this evening in what could be the Starship Enterprise, but isn't. What appear to be stars are actually raindrops lashing the windows in a very wild storm which drenched the city late today. They are paired with Chanel's Gardenia.

Day 258 - Contagious

Kittie goes viral with these Sergio Rossi slings posed on the latest edition of Contagious, accompanied by the patchouli-laden, dry, assertive and delicious fragrance by Chanel from Les Exclusifs collection, Coromandel.

Day 252 - The perfect shoe - pure Chanel

May I say, these are the most sublime shoes in my whole collection? They are vintage Chanel, made of the softest leather (I think the beige bit is lambskin, like the famous Caviar handbags), and were purchased on eBay some years ago for around US$80. They had (probably) never been worn, were picked up by someone at a Hollywood yard sale, and sold for a song. They are bliss to wear, and I will love them forever. They are accompanied this evening, at another great runway show during Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, by Chanel's Bel Respiro.

Oh, but there's more...a guest shoe. I would like to show you a magnificent pair worn by a charming young man, Clayton, whom I encountered at the end of tonight's show. He said they were "just cheap" when I asked the brand, but I think you'll agree they're pretty amazing...!

Day 238 - 18

Kittie's beloved Manolo Blahnik slingbacks in tan with silver detail are pictured this evening against the backdrop of an 18th birthday party. They are paired with Chanel's Eau de Cologne.

Day 235 - Travelling north

Pictured arriving this evening at the gateway to Australia's 'deep north', the sultry city of Brisbane, Kittie is wearing her navy Manolo Blahnik Carolyne slingbacks, and a few sprays of Chanel's Bel Respiro.
